James Louis "Jimmy" Adams, 34, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at his home.
He was born July 25, 1972, in Charleston, Mo., to Larry E. Adams and Linda Gentles Lopes.
He was employed with Spartech Plastics in Cape Girardeau. He had earlier worked as manager of several pizza establishments, including Mazzio's Pizza in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include three sons, Ryan Adams and Dylan Ray Adams, both of Richmond Hills, N.C., Dustin P. Adams of Jacksonville, N.C.; a stepson, Jessie Crews of Richmond Hills, Ga.; two brothers, Samuel Chisenall of East Prairie, Mo., Toby Adams of Paducah, Ky.; three sisters, Penny Deaver, of Richlands, N.C., Eva Chisenall of Swannanoa, N.C., Monica Sanders of Paducah, Ky.; a stepsister, Amanda Combest, of East Prairie; a stepmother Joyce Adams of East Prairie; and fiance Gladys M. Deffendall of Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by his father of East Prairie and his mother of Olympia, Wash.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. David Dowdy will officiate.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
