MOUNDS, Ill. -- James Michael Adamick, 53, of Mounds, formerly of Collinsville, Ill., died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at his home.

He was born Aug. 10, 1955, in Granite City, Ill., son of Raymond and Marie Kravec Adamick. He married Janice Thompson.

Adamick was a union ironworker and recently worked for Southern Seven.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Heather Gomez of Cape Girardeau; his parents of Collinsville; three brothers, Raymond, David and Thomas Adamick of Collinsville.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Private disposition will be at a later date.
