SIKESTON -- James A. Nall, 66, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Nall was born May 31, 1930, in Sikeston to Orville Theodore and Thelma Marie Hurt Nall. He married Bette Joan Settles on Sept. 24, 1949, in Piggott, Ark.

He had worked as a lineman, foreman and supervisor with Union Electric for more than 40 years, retiring in 1993. He also worked for Hahs Machine Shop and Harwell Auto Parts Cos.

He held memberships in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Ducks Unlimited, Southeast Missouri Duck Hunters Association and the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Barbara Krei of Oklahoma City, and two grandchildren. A brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
