Jacquline Eaves

BERNIE, Mo. -- Jacquline Hester Eaves, 75, of Bernie departed this life Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Malden Nursing Center in Malden, Mo.

She was born Jan. 26, 1934, at Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of Riley and Wilma Robinson Hester. She and J.C. Eaves were married Aug. 25, 1953, at Bloomfield. He preceded her in death May 6, 2007.

Survivors include three sons, Harold (Debe) Eaves of Kennett, Mo., James (Wanda) Eaves of Jackson, Johnny (Vicky) Eaves of Bernie; a daughter, Barbara Kegley of Malden; three brothers, Rudolph Hester of St. Louis, Dalton Hester of Florida, Gary Hester of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two sisters, Janice Rickman of Dexter, Bonnie Lefer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Dale Hester, and three sisters, Donna Faye Hester, Cozert Williamson and Betty Hester.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
