Jacob Birky

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Jacob W. Birky, 81, of Dongola, formerly of McBride, British Columbia, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Glen Weaver.

Visitation will be from 4 to 5:30 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Mount Pleasant Mennonite Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with Harlan Martin, Clarence Miller, Clair Weaver, David Fisher and Eugene Burkholder officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
