CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Jackson Garnett Brown of Charleston will be held at 2 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Burke will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home here from 9 a.m. to noon.
Brown, 31 years old, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 1990, from injuries received in a car accident earlier that day.
He was born Aug. 3, 1959, in Sikeston, son of E. Riley and Delores Wheeler Brown Jr. He was a field representative with Scott County Assessor's Office, and a member of the United Methodist Church and Southeast Missouri Assessors Association.
Survivors include his parents of Charleston; two brothers, E. Riley Brown III of Springfield, Lynn Brown of Charleston; two sisters, Mollie DeLay of Charleston, Laurie Brown of New Madrid; maternal grandparents,. Avis Lane of Charleston Route 1, and G.B. Wheeler of Detroit, Mich.
