JACKIE OLD

SIKESTON -- Graveside service for Jackie Old of Sikeston was held Monday at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Ponder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Old, 70, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 1, 1928, in Anaheim, Calif., daughter of John and Kathleen Vries. She and Shad B. Old Sr. were married April 7, 1946. He died Nov. 6, 1985.

Old was a secretary at Old Insurance Agency many years.

Survivors include two sons, Shad Old Jr. and Claude Old of Sikeston; a daughter, Cathy Turner of Springfield, Ill.; a brother, Dr. John Vries of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
