EFFINGHAM, Ill. -- Jack Lynn Wiseman, 70, of Effingham passed away on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at the Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
He was born Nov. 14, 1944, in Lutesville, Missouri, the son of Wilson Eric and Jattie Vesta Eaker Wiseman. He and Jackie Pohlman were united in marriage June 26, 1965.
Jack retired from the transportation department of Southeastern Container Corporation after 22 years.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Wiseman of Effingham; two sons, Jack W. and Keith Wiseman, both of Effingham; a daughter, Cindy (Bobby) Fulk of Effingham; a brother, Charley "Pete" Wiseman of Marble Hill, Missouri; a sister, Ruby Nanney of Marble Hill; three grandchildren, Lacey Spicer, Brandy Fulk and Blake Fulk; and one great-grandchild, Coen Spicer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leo and Wilbur Wiseman; and five sisters, Verona Jacobs, Oma Crites, Ruth Martin, Elta Slinkard and Opal Kastner.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
