Jack Ray Robertson, 63, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 18, 1995, at Sikeston Convalescent Center. He was born July 29, 1932, in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Veda Schrand Robertson. On Dec. 29, 1982, in Scott County he married Martha Minner. He was a truck driver for Schwerman Trucking Co. before retiring after 22 years. Jack Ray Robertson, 63, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 18, 1995, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

He was born July 29, 1932, in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Veda Schrand Robertson. On Dec. 29, 1982, in Scott County he married Martha Minner.

He was a truck driver for Schwerman Trucking Co. before retiring after 22 years. He was a member of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kyle Robertson and Brooks Robertson, both of St. Louis; three stepsons, Scotty Moyers, Patrick Moyers and Billy Moyers, all of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Corey Robertson of St. Louis; a brother, Fred Robertson of St. Louis; a sister, Louise Reams of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Visitation will be Tuesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate. Burial will follow at Lorimier Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 3838.
