ADVANCE -- Jack R. Markham Sr., 61, of Advance, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 1993, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 10, 1931, at Drum, son of Charles F. and Nellie C. Mabrey Narkham. He and Katherine Benfield were married Feb. 13, 1952.
Markham was a pipeline welder with Local 798 in Tulsa, Okla. He was a member of Advance Masonic Lodge and Marble Hill Eagles.
Survivors include three sons, Jack Jr. and Alan Markham of Advance, Kevin Markham of Leopold; a daughter, Nancy Huhn of Manchester; three sisters, Gladys Nenninger of Leopold, Fern Murphy of Marble Hill, Alma Williams of Elkhart, Ind., and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
