SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Jack Pennington of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Billy Hamlett will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Friends may call at the funeral home there after 6 p.m. today.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here was in charge of local arrangements.
Pennington, 70, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 16, 1923, at Frisco, son of Jack and Sadie Johnson Pennington. He and Thelma Lucille Arrington were married Nov. 7, 1942.
Pennington was a lineman with General Motors, retiring in 1982.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bobbie Pennington of Memphis, Tenn., Harles Pennington of San Francisco, Calif., Gary Pennington of Scott City; a daughter, Alice Adams of Millersville; two brothers, Lloyd and Bud Pennington of McClure, Ill.; four sisters, Lucille McElrath and Goldie Glover of Malden, Delores Everman of Mt. Morris, Mich., Bonnie Metz of Waynesville, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.
