Jack Martin

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- John "Jack" Martin, 69, of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

He was born Feb. 7, 1944, in Cape Girardeau to Albert E. and Helen Corvick Davidson Martin. He and Vicky Nall were married June 7, 2000.

After retirement, Jack went to work as a security guard at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the AMM and Possum Creek.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Vicki (Robert) Overbey of Scott City; a stepson, Darren (Tara) Lincoln of Chaffee; a stepdaughter, Samantha Lincoln of Chaffee; two sisters, Myra Davidson Severit of Troy, Ill., and Brenda Davidson Baker of Scott City; four granddaughters, Mackenzie, Michaela, Jessa and Addison.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the General Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Chaffee.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
