PIEDMONT, Mo. -- Jack Lane, 59, of Piedmont died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at his home.
He was born Nov. 26, 1941, at Marston, Mo., son of William Earl and Geraldine Fausett Lane. He and Barbara Huddleston were married June 24, 1962, at Hanley Hills, Mo.
He owned and operated Lane Salvage Groceries in Piedmont. At one time his business included four stores.
He was a member of the Eagles Club in Piedmont and active in the Christmas Basket Program.
Survived include his wife; two daughters, Lisa Fay Miller of Jackson, Mo., and Michelle R. Harman of Hillsboro, Mo.; three brothers, Norman E. Lane of North Carolina, Johnny D. Lane of Blue Eye, Mo., and Kenneth M. Lane of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Barbara Smith of Phoenix, Ariz., Patricia Probst of Jackson and Doneitta K. Weaver of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be at New Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
