ADVANCE, Mo. -- Jack Keys, 57, of Advance passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at the family home. He was born Jan. 9, 1956, in El Paso, Texas, to the late "Art" Lee and Betty Jean Young Keys. ADVANCE, Mo. -- Jack Keys, 57, of Advance passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at the family home.

He was born Jan. 9, 1956, in El Paso, Texas, to the late "Art" Lee and Betty Jean Young Keys. He and Jackie Shell were married Dec. 31, 1987.

Jack was a retired boilermaker with Local 27 in St. Louis. He was a member of Stoddard County Cowboy Church in Puxico, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie of the home; two sons, Chris (Stephanie) Taylor of Cape Girardeau, Matt Burke of Oran, Mo.; a daughter, Leah Eldridge of Perryville, Mo.; a brother, Darrell (Teresa) Keys of Jackson; two sisters, Shelia (John) Moss and Donna Donner of Jackson; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, rodeo kids and wonderful friends.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Scott Sifford officiating. Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
