JONESBORO, Ill. -- Jack R. Hinson, 67, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at Union County Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1936, in Hohenwald, Tenn., son of Joe and Mary Rose Hinson. He and Patty Penrod were married May 5, 1961, in Anna, Ill.
He was the owner of a tire business and drove a school bus in Murphysboro, Ill.
Suvivors include his wife; a daughter, Sherry Skaggs of East Prairie, Mo.; a son, Jake Hinson of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, J.C. Hinson of Parson, Tenn.; a sister, Glenda Reeves of Parson, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and four great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel, with burial in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
