Jack F.C. Gillard, 83, of Glenville, Minn., died Friday, July 27, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., surrounded by his family, following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 21, 1928, in Albert Lea, Minn., second son to Frank Charles and Mabel Christianson Gillard. He and Barbara Louise Anderson were married June 26, 1955. She passed away July 16, 1977. He and Marina Gari were married Dec. 18, 1978.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Barbara; a sister, Margaret Jane Gillard; and a brother, Charles T. Gillard.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Marina; two sons, Grant F.C. Gillard and wife Nancy of Jackson, Jason P. Gillard and wife Cheri of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Anne Gillard Craft and husband Bryan of Wixom, Mich.; eight grandchildren, Barbara Gillard and finance Jeremy Morton of Kansas City, Kan., Austin and Claire Gillard of Jackson, Molly, Spencer, Pierce and Charles Gillard of Colorado Springs, Sarah Craft of Wixom; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life memorial service was held Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea. Burial was private.
