JACK CALLOW

ORAN -- Funeral service for Junior Jackson "Jack" Callow of Oran will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Bob Bishop will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.

Callow, 70, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 1996, at Miner Nursing Center in Miner.

He was born Oct. 13, 1925, at Vanduser, son of Elmer Jackson and Gladys Blanks Callow. He and Joyce J. Boley were married March 5, 1945. She died Jan. 27, 1995.

Callow was a mechanic at Cooney Equipment Co. in Sikeston, retiring 15 years ago. He was a member of Hooe Baptist Church near Oran.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Blocker of Oran; his mother of Bell City; three brothers, Dale Callow of Oran, Jerry Callow of LaGrange, Gary Callow of Shelby, Miss.; two sisters, Mary Bryeans of Poplar Bluff, Ruby Faulconer of Eureka Springs, Ark.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
