GORDONVILLE -- Jack C. Siemers, 64, of Gordonville, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, from injuries received earlier in an accident on the family farm.
He was born March 18, 1930, at Gordonville, son of Martin F. and Olga Haertling Siemers. He and Dorothy Boeschen were married Aug. 17, 1929, in Cape Girardeau.
A prominent farmer and active in the Gordonville community all his life, he was a partner in Siemers Farms Inc. with his brother. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, former president of the congregation, and had held other offices in the church.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Paul Siemers of Gordonville; two sisters, Evelyn Winkler of Cape Girardeau, Marilyn Allebaugh of St. Louis, and stepmother, Ruby Hitt Siemers of Gordonville.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Church, with the Rev. Karl Leeman officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
