Jack Karl Bond, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at his home.
He was born July 24, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, son of Grover Cleveland and Bertha M.L. Goza Bond.
Bond was a graduate of Central High School, and received a degree in accounting from Northwestern University in Chicago.
He worked at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis 26 years, returning to Cape Girardeau in 1993. He was a volunteer at Missouri Veterans Home and Southeast Hospice.
Bond was a member of VFW Post 3838 and American Legion. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1953-55.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Franks of St. Louis; two brothers, John and Christopher Bond of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Helen Bryant, Gert Devore and Kate King of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
