BLOOMFIELD -- James Jackson "Jack" Baker, 67, Bloomfield Route 3, died Monday, May 30, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Oct. 9, 1926, at Matthews, son of Orbra and Gladys Baker. He and Charlene Smith were married June 23, 1947, in Sikeston.
Baker was an auto mechanic with Cowan Construction 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jim Baker of Dexter; a daughter, Janice Graham of Sikeston; three brothers, John Baker of House Sprngs, Bud Baker of Pagedale, Harvey Baker of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Jean Hoskins of Salinas, Calif., Tora Manor of Sacramento; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home in Sikeston after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
