BLOOMFIELD -- Ivan F. DeJournett, 76, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died Sunday, April 23, 1995, at Eastern Idaho Medical Center there.
He was born Jan. 19, 1919, at Essex, son of Cleveland and Edna Bledsoe DeJournett. He and Mary Jennings were married Nov. 10, 1945, in Piggott, Ark.
Formerly of Bloomfield, DeJournett had lived in Idaho since 1958. He had served as a pastor, clerk and Sunday School teacher of a Church of God.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ivan and Martin DeJournett of Pocatello, Idaho, Kenneth DeJournett of Winnemucca, Nev.; four daughters, Mary Byington of Pocatello, Connie Steele and Debra Reddick of Idaho Falls, Kathy Hawkes of Monteview, Idaho; two brothers, James DeJournett of Pocahontas, Ark., Alvin DeJournett of Advance; three sisters, Kathleen Cook and Veda Teets of Advance, Thelma Burchett of Warren, Mich.; 22 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield after 7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Hy Randleas officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
