ST. MARY, Mo. -- Ivan Duvall, 71, of St. Mary died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at his home.
He was born June 13, 1946, in Perry County, Missouri, the son of the late Elders J. Duvall and Myrtle M. Ochs Duvall of Perryville, Missouri, who survives.
He was retired from Mississippi Lime Company. He was a member of Perry County Saddle Club and past president. He was a member of Eminence Cross Country Trail Ride for 35-plus years.
Ivan was of the Catholic faith and was one of the founders of Lithium Park.
Survivors include five brothers and three sisters, Erline (Clete) Welker and Clyde (Darlene) Duvall, both of Perryville, Leroy (Karen) Duvall of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, Mary (Bill) Kiefer of Perryville, Cathy (Dale) Schmidt of Jackson, Wayne Duvall of Steeleville, Illinois, and Dale (Heather) Duvall and Jimmy Duvall, both of Perryville; a sister-in-law, Louise Duvall of Perryville; and a godchild, Jillynne (Joey) Geile of Perryville. He also is survived by several nieces; nephews; great-nieces, Lexiss and Jersi Geile; and other great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, John and Ronald Duvall.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Milton Ryan, C.M., officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials preferred for Hope Therapeutic Horsemanship Center of Perryville.
