STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Iva Irene Sparkman, 84, of Ste. Genevieve died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 28, 1916, in Yount, Mo., daughter of Franklin John and Ethel Blanche Duvall Miller. She and Beuford A. Sparkman were married June 4, 1932. He died May 13, 1992.
She was a member of Whitewater Christian Church in Yount.
Survivors include two sons, Herb Sparkman of Perryville and Richard Sparkman of Florissant, Mo.; one daughter, Anna Mae Mueller of Ste. Genevieve; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday from 6:30 a.m. until the funeral at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Burial will follow in Whitewater Christian Cemetery.
