Iva Jewell Sisk, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 3, 1913, at Oran, daughter of the late James Bert and Gertrude Jane Burnett Barnett. She married James Edward Sisk March 22, 1930. He preceded her in death April 16, 1981.
Sisk moved to Cape Girardeau in 1973 from Scott City. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Arlene and Ronnie Gene Slinkard; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Rhonda and Charles Seabaugh; a great-grandson, Christopher Seabaugh; and a great-granddaughter, Rejeana McDowell, all of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Bertie Hughes of Jefferson City and Gertrude Belleville of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Private family service will be held at Cape County Memorial Park.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
