DEXTER -- Funeral service for Iva May Greer of North Little Rock, Ark., will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Doyle Corlew will officiate, with burial in Essex Cemetery at Essex.
Greer, 91, died Saturday, April 22, 1995, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Ark.
She was born Dec. 24, 1903, at Essex, daughter of James Wesley and Hydra Greer Darby. She and Liburn Greer were married July 29, 1922, at Bloomfield. He died July 26, 1976.
Greer spent much of her life in the Dexter area. She lived in Illinois 15 years, moved back to Dexter in 1971, and then to North Little Rock in 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty McCroskey of North Little Rock; four sisters, Beulah Baker of Carlinville, Ill., Elizabeth London and Bertha Roberts of Bernie, Ollie Taylor of Hettick, Ill.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a brother.
