MILLERSVILLE -- Isabel M. James, 77, of Millersville died Sunday, Feb. 19, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born near Patton on March 5, 1917, the daughter of Miles and Ruth Long Lincoln. She married Johnnie James in 1935. He died in 1971.
James was a retire machine operator at International Hat Company in Marble Hill. She also was a member of the Scopus Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Max James of Blytheville, Ark., Jerry James of Millersville and Larry James of Grassy; a daughter, Joyce Young of Marble Hill; eight brothers, Clinton, Duel and Ralph Lincoln, all of Marble Hill, M. J. Lincoln of Burfordville, Clifford, Floyd and Gerald Lincoln of Millersville and Kenneth Lincoln of St. Louis; three sisters, Fredia Long of Marble Hill, Lorene Walter of Jackson and Paulene Statler of Valley Park; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesay. Kelly Francis will officiate, and burial will be in the Cook Cemetery in Scopus.
