ANNA, Ill. -- Isabel Lence, 83, of Anna died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Anna, daughter of Tullie and Beulah Lamkin Dillow. She and Rolla E. "Buck" Lence were married Feb. 6, 1939. He died Feb. 10, 1993.
Lence was a member of First Christian Church, life member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary to the Moose, all in Anna, and Cobden Women's Club in Cobden, Ill.
Survivors include a son, Ron Lence of Oldsmar, Fla.; a daughter, Susan Foltz of Glendale, Ariz.; a sister, Lorene Jenkins of Pico Rivera, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dr. Dave Soucie officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
