CHAFFEE -- Graveside service for Irma Lou Springer of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. today at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City. The Rev. John Davis will officiate.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
Springer, 84, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 18, 1914, in Jonesboro, Ark., daughter of William Espy and Nettie Lou Reeves Guy. She and Fred Martin August Springer were married March 10, 1959. He died July 20, 1986.
Springer had been a salesclerk at U.S.A. Discount Store in East St. Louis, Ill. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chaffee.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Irene Klughart of Scott City.
