PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. - Irma Del Bloodworth, 72, formerly of Kelso, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1993 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born in Owensville, Ind. on June 17, 1920 to Ross and Annabelle Garrison Barrett.
On July 13, 1949, she married Glenn M. Bloodworth. He preceded her in death Aug. 16, 1985.
She was employed by Hamon's Furniture store in Illmo for more than 25 years as a salesperson, bookkeeper and secretary. She was a member of the Illmo Baptist Church, and a member and three-term worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: one daughter, Glenda Cutright of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Thelma Yeager and Selma Tipton, both of Pinckneyville, Ill., Alice Bradshaw of Fort Branch, Ind. and Eunice Huggins of DuQuoin, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Monday at the Pyatt Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, beginning at 1 p.m. The Rev. Charles Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
Friends may call today from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 8 a.m. until services begin.
