EAST PRAIRIE -- Iris Illene Bohren, 66, of DeKalb, Ill., died Thursday, Aug. 29, 1991, at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, Ill.
She was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Hornbeak, Tenn., daughter of Howard and Fannie Ing Ashley. She moved to the DeKalb and Chicago area several years ago from East Prairie.
Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Gylian of DeKalb; four brothers, James Ashley of Charleston, Gene Ashley of East Prairie, Jack Ashley of Madison, Tenn., Jerry Ashley of Ashland, Ohio; two sisters, Janice Kay of Chaffee, Maurine Huffine of Nashville, Tenn.; a granddaughter, and two great-grandsons.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Glenn Rogers will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Saturday.
