Irene W. Frayser, 77, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Wyatt, died Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 27, 1917, at Wyatt, the daughter of William B. and Laura Duty Stroud.
On Nov. 26, 1932, she married Eugene C. Frayser, who preceded her in death.
She had lived in Mississippi County most of her life where she was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church. She had been assistant manager of the Wyatt Junction Restaurant until her retirement in 1982.
Survivors include three sons, H. Thomas Frayser of Louisville, Ky., W.S. "Bill" Frayser of Cape Girardeau and Ronald E. Frayser of Spencer, Ohio; one daughter, Laura Affsprung, Wood River, Ill.; two brothers, Eugene Stroud of Wickliffe, Ky., and Orval Stroud of Valparaiso, Ind.; one sister, Alline Cotton of Cairo, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
One son and one brother preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin today at 5 p.m. at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Tom Bridges, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Charleston.
