IRENE THILENIUS

Irene Thilenius, 78, of Waldport, Ore., died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1991, at Pacific Community Hospital in Newport, Ore.

She was born March 1, 1913, at Egypt Mills, daughter of Gottlieb and Mary Steinhoff Baker. She married Herbert Thilenius July 3, 1939, in Wichita, Kan.

Thilenius was reared here. She and her husband lived in Kimmswick, Wash., many years before retiring in Waldport. She had been a secretary at General Electric.

Survivors include her husband; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother and six sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Carl Richardson will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
