EAST PRAIRIE -- Irene Mae Cave, 83, of East Prairie died Friday, June 4, 1993 in the East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born July 28, 1904 in East Prairie, daughter of James and Jinny Younger Stockman. She had lived her entire life in Mississippi County.
In 1924, she married Jim Cave, who preceded her in death Aug. 17, 1987. She was also preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, one brother, two sisters and one grandson.
She is survived by one son, Jimmie Cave, East Prairie; one daughter, Mary Ketchum, Charleston; two brothers, Lindsey Stockman, Scottsboro, Ala., Roy Stockman, California; one sister, Martha Ellis, Sikeston; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Mike Johnson and Burl Britt of East Prairie will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
