IRENE HENSLEY

BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Irene Hensley of Bloomfield will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. The Rev. Greg Greason will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m.

Hensley, 88, died Thursday, June 15, 1995, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 5, 1907, at Bloomfield, daughter of Charles and Zelma Jackson Maupin. She and Richard F. Hensley were married April 12, 1936. He died May 6, 1959.

Hensley had taught at Bloomfield Schools, owned and operated a variety store here, and was retired from Social Services. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and Chapter DZ of PEO.

Survivors include a sister, Kay Corbin of Bloomfield.
