DEXTER -- Irene Susan Hanner, 87, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, in Dexter.
She was born Oct. 10, 1902, in McGee, Mo., daughter of John and Virginia Dennis McLeary. She spent most of her life in Bloomfield, where she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include six sons, William Hanner of Branson, Lyle Hanner of Colorado Springs, Colo., Donald Hanner of Hutton, Texas, Larry Hanner and Robert Hanner, both of Bloomfield, and James Hanner of Dexter; five daughters, Beverly Mikel of Clarkton, Mo., Shelia Loafman of Jackson, Shirley Hanner and Nowatta Wagoner, both of Bloomfield, and Sharlene Breedlove of Kennett; one sister, Effie Pitts of Homossa, Fl.; 34 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. Two daughters and two grandsons preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the McGee Cemetery in McGee.
