Irene Francis Fisher, 90, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Gordonville, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Glennon, Mo., daughter of Henry and Mary Thele DeBrock. She and Elmer Joseph Fisher were married Nov. 27, 1946, at St. Anthony's Church in Glennon. He preceded her in death Sept. 3, 2003.
Irene was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson and its St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include a son, Cornelius "Sonny" (Barbara) Fisher of Jackson; a daughter, Judy Carlton of Gordonville; three grandchildren, Christy Brugger, Angie Carlton and Clint Carlton; and five great-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Church in Glennon, with the Rev. John Harth officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
