PERRYVILLE -- Irene C. Welker, 83, of Arnold, died Monday, June 3, 1991, at St. Anthony Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born Dec. 24, 1907, in Perry County, daughter of Louis and Mary Behrle Weiss. She married Lawrence Welker Nov. 17, 1931. He died June 17, 1990...

PERRYVILLE -- Irene C. Welker, 83, of Arnold, died Monday, June 3, 1991, at St. Anthony Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born Dec. 24, 1907, in Perry County, daughter of Louis and Mary Behrle Weiss. She married Lawrence Welker Nov. 17, 1931. He died June 17, 1990.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Welker of Imperial, Roger Welker of Pevely; a daughter, Velda Sadler of Festus; a brother, Wallace Weiss of Perryville; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, brother and sister.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Larry Koncewicz will officiate, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at Highland.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
