MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Ira Kent, 91, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, at Eldercare of Marble Hill.
He was born Nov. 9, 1915, in Houston, Mo., son of James Roscoe and June Coplin Kent. He and Joyce Hager were married Feb. 5, 1991.
He had worked as plant manger at Lockheed Martin.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Leroy Kent and James Kent, both of Festus, Mo., Bill Kent of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Wilma Linzemann of Perryville, Mo., Betty Jarred of Crystal City, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Pam Wesbecher and Jamie Sweazea, both of Marble Hill; a brother, Riley Kent of Festus; 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery in Branson, Mo.
