PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Iona Josephine Cissell Wibbenmeyer, 92, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, in Perryville.
Iona was born March 16, 1923, in Perry County, Missouri, to Leonard and Otilia Huber Cissell. She married Raymond O. Wibbenmeyer on June 17, 1950. He preceded her in death Oct. 12, 2008.
Iona worked at the Association of the Miraculous Medal and also as a ticket taker at the Hilltop Drive-In and the Mercier Theater. She had also worked at International Shoe Co. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality and the American Legion Auxilliary.
She is survived by four sons, Charles Wibbenmeyer of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, Paul Wibbenmeyer of Fiddletown, California, Kevin Wibbenmeyer of Sikeston, Missouri, and Patrick Wibbenmeyer of Lexington, Kentucky; one daughter, Mary Keesee of High Ridge, Missouri; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Rich Wehrmeyer, CM, officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to St. Vincent School Endowment Fund.
