IONA STATLER

FREDERICKTOWN -- Iona Statler, 64, of Fredericktown, died Friday, Aug. 30, 1991, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Fredericktown.

She was born May 12, 1927, in Millersville, the daughter of the late Purve and Myrtle Biffle Jones.

On Feb. 15, 1947, she married Glen Stater at Fredericktown. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Ray Statler of Fredericktown and Ivan Statler of Jackson; two sisters, Geraldine Abbott and Euldine McWilliams, both of Fredericktown; two brothers, Biffle Jones of Fredericktown and Stanley Jones of Dexter; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, at Wilson Funeral Chapel in Fredericktown. The Rev. Darrell Pouge will officiate, and burial will be in Christian Cemetery at Fredericktown.
