Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 9.

Weiss, 89, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 26, 1911, in Perry County, daughter of Andrew and Clara Huber Brown. She and Wallace Weiss were married May 20, 1940. He died in December 1997.

Weiss had been a secretary at Miraculous Medal. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Rutledge of St. Charles, Mo.; two sons, Charles Weiss of St. Louis, Dr. James Weiss of Jefferson City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
