CAIRO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Inga Rutter Brinkmeyer will be held at 1 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Chapel in Cairo. The Rev. William O. Voss will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
Brinkmeyer, 91, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She first married John M. Rutter, who died in 1956, and then married Herman Brinkmeyer, who died in 1980.
Brinkmeyer was a retired licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Order of Eastern Star, and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, John Rutter III of Millington, Tenn.; a stepson, Herman Brinkmeyer Jr. of Vancouver, Wash.; a sister, Isabelle Paugh of Indianapolis, Ind.; two grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepson.
