Inez Starzinger

Sarah Inez Starzinger, 88, of Jackson died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 2, 1916, in Jackson, daughter of Sylvanis Odney and Iva Caroline Craig Hutson. She and Glenn Starzinger were married Sept. 5, 1942. He died Oct. 25, 1998.

Starzinger worked 22 years in the fitting room at Florsheim Shoe Co., retiring in 1970. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary 158.

Survivors include a daughter, Diana Starzinger of Jackson; two brothers, Pink and Robert Hutson of Jackson; two sisters, Ruby Clifton of Jackson, and Ella May Cook of Burfordville.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Old City Cemetery.
