BERNIE -- Inez Catherine Blocker, 73, of Bernie, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, at her home.
She was born Feb. 2, 1925, at Paragould, Ark., daughter of James Autry and Cora Stephens Autry. She and Felix Blocker were married Aug. 23, 1949, in Leachville, Ark.
Blocker was a homemaker and had worked as janitor at the Bernie City Hall for 19 years before retiring. She was a member of the First Oneness Pentecostal Church in Bernie.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Becky Vincent of Bernie; two brothers, Lester Autry of Batesville, Ark. and Loyd Autry of Paragould; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; and two step-great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Maxwell Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Bernie Cemetery.
