Ina B. Warren, 79, 1751 Dunklin, died Sunday, May 26, 1996, at her home.
She was born April 1, 1917, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Julius and Reva Seabaugh Bollinger. She and Charles A. Warren were married Jan. 21, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. He died Aug. 18, 1991.
Warren was a graduate of Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University.
She taught school 27 years, including 12 in Cape Girardeau, six in Delta, and schools at Rothville, Knob Noster, Perkins and Laclede. After retiring she spent a year in Baton Rouge, La., teaching adults to read.
Warren was a member of First Baptist Church, had taught Sunday School, was a member of Missouri Teachers Association, Missouri Retired Teachers Association, and had been a volunteer at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Warren of state of California; three daughters, Ina Moore of Cape Girardeau, Myrna Ball of Yuba City, Calif., Linda Browning of St. Joseph; a sister, Muriel Leyerle of Durango, Colo.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 7-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Dr. John Owen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
