Ina Tidwell

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ina L. Tidwell, 83, of Advance passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 3, 1934, at East Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Beatrice Gobble Dennison.

Ina was a homemaker. She was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ina and N. Willard Tidwell were united in marriage Sept. 30, 1950, in Piggott, Arkansas, and he passed away Aug. 2, 2001.

Survivors include two sons, Kerry (Rhonda) Tidwell of Morley, Missouri, and Kevin (Paula) Tidwell of Advance; two sisters, Vivian Arnold of Cape Girardeau and Carol Miller of Houston; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Daryl Tidwell.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Earl Elfrink officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
