AURORA, Ill. -- Ina C. Clifford, 103, of Aurora and formerly of Dongola, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at Countryside Care Centre in Aurora. She was born June 12, 1894, at Dongola, daughter of William Grant and Emma Head Cooley. She and Hallie E. Clifford were married Aug. 10, 1911. He died in October 1963...

AURORA, Ill. -- Ina C. Clifford, 103, of Aurora and formerly of Dongola, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at Countryside Care Centre in Aurora.

She was born June 12, 1894, at Dongola, daughter of William Grant and Emma Head Cooley. She and Hallie E. Clifford were married Aug. 10, 1911. He died in October 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Lois L. Sheffer of Benton, Ky., a grandson, five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in the American Legion Funeral Home in Dongola.
