IMOGENE WHITEHEAD

BERNIE, Mo. -- Imogene Whitehead, 72, of Bernie died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born March 1, 1929, at Powe, Mo., daughter of John Webb and Myrtle Hathaway Boyd. She and Dayton Whitehead were married May 19, 1947, in Piggott, Ark.

Whitehead attended First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Bobby Whitehead of Bernie; two daughters, Sharon Stevens and Derretta Patrick of Bernie; her mother of Bernie; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Revs. Dale Shoup and Marlin Durham will officiate. Burial will be in Smith-Stevenson Cemetery near Dexter, Mo.
