IMOGENE WEST

ADVANCE -- Imogene West, 64, of Zalma died Friday, May 15, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born at Gipsy, Jan. 14, 1924, daughter of Herbert R. Rice and Irene Elizabeth Meador Rice.

She married Tommy West on Aug. 2, 1952, at Piggott, Ark. He died March 17, 1992.

She was retired as head cook at Zalma School.

Survivors include two sons, Mick West of Zalma and Stanley West of Cape Girardeau; daughters, Donna Turner of Marble Hill and Peggy Lee of Wappapello; a stepsister; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with the Rev. Bob Porter officiating. Interment will be in Berrong Cemetery at Zalma.
