PERKINS, Mo. -- Funeral for Imogene Stanley of Perkins will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo. The Rev. Jack Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today.
Stanley, 79, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 12, 1921, near Bell City, Mo., daughter of Emery and Sarah Burlison Bain. She and Leon L. Stanley were married July 7, 1941. He died June 7, 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Stanley of Oran, George Stanley of Morley, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Phillips of Oran; two brothers, George Bain of Sedalia, Mo., Charles Bain of Oran; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two grandsons, three brothers, a sister, a granddaughter and a great-grandchild.
